§ 7-71. Adoption enforcement of International Fire Codes.

  • There is hereby recognized by the city, for the purpose of establishing methods, rules, and regulations governing conditions hazardous to life and property from fire or explosion, that certain code known as the International Fire Code, as promulgated by the South Carolina Building Codes Council is adopted. The adoption shall not include any appendices unless specifically stated in this chapter. A copy of the fire code shall be maintained on file in the office of the fire chief and shall be available for public inspection.
