Election results shall be determined according to the nonpartisan election and runoff
election method described in S.C. Code, § 5-15-62.
(b)
A second election shall be conducted two (2) weeks after the first election between
one (1) more than the number of candidates necessary to fill offices for which no
candidate received a majority of the votes cast, and that election shall be between
the candidates receiving the largest number of votes in the first election. The candidate
receiving a majority of the votes cast in the second election shall be declared elected.
