§ 14-2. Placing waste on streets or other public property.

  • It shall be unlawful for any person to place or deposit or cause to be placed or deposited on any of the parks, streets or sidewalks of the city any dead animal or fowl, any garbage, trash or rubbish, any decaying animal or vegetable matter, or any sweepings of residences, stores, offices or other buildings, or for any person to deposit or place any garbage in any alley, street, stream or other public place within the city, unless the garbage is enclosed in a suitable container.
