§ 12-5. Maximum penalties that court may impose.

  • Whenever the municipal judge finds a party guilty of violating a city ordinance or a state law within the jurisdiction of the municipal court, he may impose a fine or imprisonment, or both, not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500.00) or thirty (30) days.
